What is Backflow testing?
Backflow is what happens when contaminated or dirty water sources get access to your clean water supply system. Most of the time, your system will stop this from occurring. However, sometimes these systems can malfunction or break down over time.

Why the test is important?
Your drinking water flows through pressurized water taps from the water source to your tap. It usually flows in one direction but on occasions, it may flow in the opposite direction, or “backflow”.
Essentially, backflow is when water runs opposite/backwards through a water supply system. This water is NOT drinkable and may contaminate your drinking water supply.
